TAFE Outreach programs are closely aligned to the Federal Social Inclusion Agenda ensuring NSW education is accessible to people who face barriers to learning including geographical and social isolation, language and cultural factors, financial hardship, lack of educational confidence, being unaware of opportunities to learn, a disability or family commitments.

Program

The course is offered two days per week over one semester at Granville College and each day is spent in one particular trade area. Therefore a course may offer one day in Metal Fabrication and the second day in Painting and Decorating.
The course also includes a component to develop communication skills and includes guest speakers, particularly people who are considered to be good role models for the students.
